Skoglund Technical Services are capable of providing you with the telecommunications royal treatment:  A Deluxe Network Installation.  While a basic network installation is available for the budget conscious and provides hard-wired, direct connections that may look like a bird nest after some time...the deluxe full install makes a clean, attractive network possible.  Imagine a full network control center in your home or business.

The full deluxe installation will usually involve the use of professional equipment.  Depending on needs, the wall mounted network cabinet will be 18-40 inches in height.  Inside may contain:

• network terminations and patch cords for 6, 12, or more 100Mbps data network lines
• A switch and/or DSL/Cable modem
• Telephone distribution system, usually with up to 4 lines in, distributed to 6 or more locations
• A TV/Cable/Satellite system amplifier and distribution to several television sets
• Concealed 120V outlets for internal use

Outside the cabinet, all attempts will be made to hide wiring within walls or ceilings.  Attractive surface mount molding can be used where internal routing is impossible.   Combination telecommunications jacks will be installed at several locations, as needed.  They may contain:

• 1 data port, 1 telephone port
• 1 data port, 1 telephone port, 1 Cable TV port
• 2 data ports, 2 telephone ports
• 3 data ports, 2 telephone ports,  1 Cable TV port
• or any combinations needed!

These setups make it easy to have the following at your home or business:

1. A computer, a telephone, and a network enabled printer all on one desk!
2. Cable TV feeds to your home theater system, with dedicated network lines to your DVR, and a land line phone nearby.  Record video content, and stream it digitally around the whole house.
3. A central server -- access your important data and print to network or shared printers from any computer in the house!
4. Easy migration to VoiP internet phone technology!  The network cabling is already run and sitting right next to the phone jack.  Just change plugs!
