Frequently I am tasked with the proper disposal of electronics waste.  Most electronics contain trace amounts of hazardous compounds both in the components and within the PCBs (printed circuit boards) themselves. I am not allowed to simply throw them into the garbage.  The following are my disposal rates:

*Skoglund Technical Services is not primarily in the business of electronics disposal.  We reserve the right to refuse disposal if you are bringing in a truck load of items.  Please call for arrangements if you require disposal of multiple items not generally considered 'average' computer waste.

You might also be able to hold onto these items yourselves and dispose of them.  John's Sanitary and the city of Silver Bay have teamed with NorthShore Mining to provide free electronics recycling to residents at least once per year.
